i created my webpage for my web design class because i was forced into it..haha just kidding, but also for people to know some things about me, and what i like to do.

I created the "friend" link because i like to hang out with my friends, and they mean a lot to me, and im glad i have those people in my life. If i didnt have them as friends, im pretty sure i wouldnt be me. We get a little crazy at times, but who doesnt?

I also created the "family" link because i like to hang out with my family. If anything, i'd hang out with them everyday if i could. But we're all pretty busy so we hardly see each other, but during holidays it gets a little nuts. and for some weird reason, i love that.

The "camping" link, is because thats usually what my family and i like to do. We're usually camping every weekend in the summer. It's a lot of fun too, we usually have croquet tournements, but everyone ends up losing to my dad, because hes amazingly good, but we all think he cheats...

And last but not least, i created the "sports" link because im into sports, and enjoy the people i do them with. I've been in a sport ever since i could, starting in 7th grade. This year i decided i would try tennis for the first time, and yesterday me and my partner placed Third in #2 doubles at MPC's.

ah, the candidates

Im not much for politics, but if i had the choice to vote; i believe it would be Obama. Nothing against McCain or anything, it just seems like a better choice in my opinion.

Sure Palin may have nice thoughts on how this country should be led, and how she's here to help McCain. But do we really need another Republican running this country? I mean, look at the past years, how much trouble have we really went through? Its nothing but lies in my theory, and John McCain seems to be running in our current President Bush's shoes.

But then again, he who lies best wins when it comes to politics. Right? It's all about what you hear from what they say. But do you think McCain or even Obama can remember what they said awhile back that some person may believe is still going to happen, but never will because it was nothing but a lie?

Hurricanes

Imagine the town you live in, gone. Buildings torn down, water everywhere. Nowhere to go, nowhere to sleep. Imagine being without your friends and family that were taken away by the furious storm and wondering where they were and if they were alright or not. How would you feel?

Where we live, we dont have to worry about hurricanes or anything close to the assumption of that. But for people that lived in Lousianna, how they went through life with Hurricane Katrina, and now how people are going through life, now that Hurricane Ike has passed through their territory, making their lifestyles difficult. It would be so hard for me to go through life if i was caught up in a storm like that, i'm not quite sure how i would feel. I'd feel lost without my family and friends. I can only imagine how they feel, and i hope to God, i never have to go through what some innocent people are going through at this very moment.

Hoooomecoming!

Last year of Homecoming, ever think these days would come? Never. As a senior at IHS its our job to show off the most spirit in our school. Throughout this week its been a close race between us as seniors, and them as the sophomores. We're currently tied at 41% with most spirited.

Why is Homecoming so special to us? Because its our last year here, and we want to make it a good one. We try to participate in as much activity as we can so the underclassmen can look up to us and wait for their chances to become Seniors and take control of this school.

Homecomings a special week here, its a chance to show off how great of a class we really are. We all work together trying to maintain the most spirited, win float building, and of course win the Homecoming football game. It's sad to know this is the final day, and theres never going to be another one. But as Seniors we'll never forget how great of a time we've had with each other, whether we're winning or losing in any of the activity that has followed us here today; these days wont be forgotten.

Chocolate rain..

What's chocolate rain you ask? Well the story behind that is, of course, one of our powderpuff football plays made up by no one better but our senior guys. During the practice Saturday night us girls were plowed over, tripped, and smashing into each other. But still, everyone had a good time laughing over what a mess it was.
And how can you forget Britney Racines play calls, by slurring her words making it hysterical and hard to play. Sure the guys were frustrated by not getting us to pay attention to what they were saying, but we didnt care. This was all about having fun. As the practice went on, we all happened to glance over at the juniors playing in the practice field filled with goose poop, and god knows what, watching them struggle during up downs. And what was better for us to do? That's right. Laugh at them loud enough so they can hear us. Silly juniors.

If I was President..

Let's see, If I were President I would ban smoking because I, personally, think its very disgusting. It's disgusting that even when your walking around and enjoying a walk, you walk by someone and their smoking, and all you can smell is there smoke from a mile away.

It also irritates me that when your working and you get someone that comes through the drive thru, and they're smoking and when they get to your window, smoke fills the whole restaurant. When people smoke they dont take the time to realize who they're smoking by, and ask if they "mind" if they smoke. They just do it.
